Privacy Policy

Carmel Go ("we", "us", "our") is a software platform operated by Harmont Intelligence LLC that gives independent courier businesses ("Couriers") the tools to run their delivery service — a website, ordering channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, phone, web chat), and an AI assistant that takes orders from the Courier's own customers.

1. Scope — who this policy applies to

Carmel Go involves two distinct relationships:

If you contact Carmel Go directly (for example, by emailing us) rather than through a specific Courier's own channel, we will share your contact details and request with a Courier able to fulfil it, so they can assist you.

The rest of this policy uses "you" to mean whichever of the two applies to your situation.

3. Voice calls and AI processing

When you place an order by phone or through our voice assistant, your call is processed by an AI system (Google Gemini) to understand your request, provide a price estimate, and create the order. Calls may be transcribed and summarized to assist the courier and for quality review; some calls may be recorded. This processing is used solely to fulfil your delivery request and is not used for advertising.

4. How we use this information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your delivery communications for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. WhatsApp & messaging channels

If you contact us or receive updates via WhatsApp, your messages are processed through the WhatsApp Business Platform in accordance with Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms of Service. Message content is used solely to create and update your delivery order, and is not used for advertising. Similarly, messages sent via Telegram or SMS are used only to process your order and provide status updates.

6. Service providers we use

We share the minimum necessary data with the following providers to operate the service. Some of these providers may process data outside Israel (e.g. on servers in the EU or US); we only work with providers that maintain appropriate security and confidentiality standards.

7. Data retention

We retain order and communication records for as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet our legal/accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at privacy@carmel-go.com.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and access controls to limit who within our organization can view your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
